USD/BRL exchange rate at the end of 2026

Market Rules

This event predicts the value of one U.S. Dollar expressed in Brazilian Reais (USD/BRL exchange rate) at the close of trading on December 31, 2026. The Primary Designated Source (PDS) is MarketWatch’s U.S. Dollar–Brazilian Real monitor, using the closing USD/BRL figure published for December 31, 2026.

If MarketWatch’s data for that date is delayed, unavailable, or unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will be confirmation of the same closing USD/BRL rate from MarketWatch’s historical data download or a clear consensus of reporting by major financial news organizations or widely used market data providers (such as Reuters or Bloomberg) citing end-of-day market prices. Futuur will resolve these markets according to the substantive exchange-rate outcome and market intent, not minor technical or formatting differences. If foreign-exchange markets experience significant disruptions on December 31, 2026, Futuur may use its discretion to determine the most appropriate comparable data for resolution; if no fair determination is possible, the markets may be cancelled with a public explanation.
